Common questions
What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma, a concentrate of the platelets in your own blood, which contain growth factors that support repair.
Is the PRP system important?
Yes. Dr Azoo uses a mechanical separation kit that achieves a high platelet concentration, rather than a gel-based kit.
Is it combined with other treatments?
It is delivered with Dermapen microneedling and can be part of a wider skin-quality plan.
About PRP at Dr Azoo
Platelet-rich plasma therapy uses the body’s own healing processes. Blood is taken from the arm and spun to harvest the platelets, whose growth factors trigger repair and collagen production when reintroduced into the skin.
